Playing in the Snow
We woke up on Saturday morning to a light layer of snow on the ground. The boys were so excited! There was just enough to make some snowballs and have a snowball fight! Here are the highlights:

Cohen's Thanksgiving Party
2 weeks ago Cohen started pre-school. He finally decided he's ready, so I let him give it a go. He loves it! He goes Monday-Friday from 8:30 - 11:30 am. Which is the exact time I'm at work. So it works out perfectly!!! My nephew Karcher goes there too, so they get to play together all day! Here are some pics of his Thanksgiving party. We got to decorate cookies and cupcakes with little candies, there was also punch that Cohen couldn't get enough of.

Thanksgiving at the Nursing Home

My neighbor fell and broke her hip a few months ago. After surgery and a short stay in the hospital she was transferred to the nursing home to recover. Last weekend we went up to have Thanksgiving with her. They had beautiful tables set up all over the dining hall with candles and decorations everywhere. Apparently Billie had so many guests that they set us up in a private room!!! It was really nice. It had a kitchenette and a private bathroom. It was me, Mom, Joe, Aunt Joyce, Camden & Cohen all there to celebrate with Billie. The meal was amazing. The staff told us that the cook had been up since 3 am preparing the meal, it showed! It was really a great time. I hope she gets to come home soon!!!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!!!
Camden was Darth Vader and Cohen was Venon, the black spiderman. We went to the local church run "Trunk or Treat" where they line up cars, decorate the trunks and hand out candy from the trunk of the car. The boys love it! I really enjoy it because we can get all our trick or treating done in one stop! No walking around for miles getting in and out of the car, this is perfect!
I asked Lou to take a picture of us but Camden did NOT want to oblige. He wouldn't smile with any amout of threatening! ;-)
Afterwards we went to a friends house so the boys could play together, and play together they did! They were incredibly rowdy from all that sugar!

Poor Cohen just couldn't handle all the fun. He passed out on the way over there and stayed asleep the whole time! I couldn't belive he could sleep through the noise of the boys running, screaming and sword fighting just a few feet away from him!
All in all it was a great Halloween! Hope yours was too!

New Look
I've changed the boys' blog up a little bit, I hope to change it for the seasons. They will like that since they like to "read" their blog. That cracks me up, knowing they can't read yet. Ha ha ha! For more really cute backgrounds see www.thecutestblogontheblock.com.
Passed Out
Camden and Cohen are up every morning by 7am and then Camden is at School from 8:13 am until 3:00 pm everyday. Cohen goes with me to the gym to work until 11:30, then home to watch Karcher until 1:15 pm. Then he gets to run errands with me, help clean, play toys, or just watch TV. Then we pick up Camden and come home and play outside. I try to keep them away until bedtime at 8:30 but often it just doesn't work. They are just too tired!

Camden was dressed as Batman, in costume as usual! Sorry for the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my camera phone.

Chips & Dip
Camden was begging me for some Scoops chips and cheese dip. He likes the cheese con queso, it's a little spicy but he doesn't mind. So while the boys were getting dressed up in costumes in the living room I set the snacks out and called them in. They were loving it!

A Visit to the Fire Station

Karcher was really scared of the big truck and started crying and yelling "no" as soon as he saw it. He had a death grip around me and I wasn't putting him down even if I really tried! Cohen was loving it. They popped him up in the drivers seat and he had a blast pretending to drive that giant red truck. He had headphones on and everything!

So thank you, thank you, thank you to the guys at the Mt. Vernon Fire Station on 42nd street! We loved it!!!
