Clifford the Big Red Dog

When I picked Camden up from Kindergarten today Cohen and I peeked through the window and saw his whole class with headbands that had big red ears stapled to them. They were singing and dancing and having a great time! Then when class was dismissed and he walked through the door we saw this:

How adorable! They all had their noses painted like puppy dogs! Cohen thought it was great, so Camden convinced his teacher to paint Cohen's nose too. They didn't have time to make him a set of ears but he wasn't too upset. So here is Cohen saying "Cheese" (he really wasn't in any pain, the way the picture look...lol!)

Breakfast: Puppy Dog

Today is Camden's Second day of school and being that it was a Monday I wanted him to get off to a good start. So I got up and made him breakfast. I sat there with a blank stare on my face trying to figure out what to create and this is what I came up with (ignore the Spiderman Plate, it makes it harder to see the Puppy Dog):
Cheesy Eggs for the head, then one piece of toast cut into quarters. The bottom piece of toast (the tongue) has Strawberry Jelly on it. Then I used blueberries for the eyes and nose. He LOVED it! It really helped him get into a good mood, because he did NOT want to go to school!

New Haircuts

Today Camden had a hair appointment at 3:30. We arrived at 3:15 and she (Jennifer: the best hairstylist ever!!!) got right to work. Camden was done at 3:30. He managed to make off with her squirt bottle and soaked his head and the front of his shirt. We put him under the hair dryer to dry off!

Then Cohen begged for a haircut because "Bubba" got one. He was so happy to be up in that chair!

I can't believe that he needed a haircut again! I hate cutting off his curls, but somehow they always come back. He was elated!
He kept telling me "Momma, I'm getting my haircut". You can see the pride in his face. He sat very still while she worked her magic.

She was done with him by 3:45 and I hinted around that I would like a trim.
She didn't hesistate. She trimmed up all my split ends and cut bangs again, I LOVE it! She was done by 4 pm just in time for her next appointment. Amazing! We all left very happy campers!

Kitchen fun

The boys were getting bored and pretty rowdy so it was time to get creative. I first layed out 2 beach towels in the floor to keep it as dry as possible. Then I took my 2 largest pots and filled thim half full of water. I sat out 2 smaller pots for each boy and gave them measuring cups, spoons, ladles, etc. Then I filled each of the large pots with some dry red kidney beans and let them have at it! They really enjoyed it! For a little extra fun, I gave them the sprinkles shaker (for cupcakes) and they loved that. Cohen quickly noticed that the color from the sprinkles was diluted in the water. He was upset that he pretty colored sprinkles were all white and his water was mucky, and then the fun was over as quickly as it began.

I don't have any pictures of Lou because he was taking all the pictures. lol!
Camden got some really amazing gifts too (not that he needed any more)! Thank you to everyone that came and for the gifts! I hope you all had a great time!
